FIFTH SUNDAY IN LENT

The Story: The Trials of a King
This week's message looks at a significant turn of events for David: the teenage giant-slayer is now King David, but makes a series of mistakes that have life-long consequences. The good news is that even when it looks like all hope is lost, God is faithful and present to help him to rebuild and have hope for the future again. In the same way, God is faithful to us, even when life pushes us to our limits - God still loves us and is still present with us to encourage us and guide us on our way.

PRAY WITH US
As Paul was encouraging Timothy, he said this:
"God has not given us a Spirit of Fear, but Power, Love and a Sound Mind." 2 Timothy1:7
This is a beautiful promise that we can claim as the Hope Community together by praying at 1:07 each afternoon. Will you consider joining in prayer every day at 1:07 pm? After you have finished lunch and are heading into your afternoon routine, please join your Hope family in prayer at 1:07 pm and claim this promise for yourself, your family and for those medical workers serving on the front line, and others who specifically need it.
Take a moment right now to set an alarm on your phone at 1:07 pm as a reminder to pray.
As the days go by, please feel free to send prayer requests to the church so all of us can approach God's throne of grace together with confidence asking Him to help us in our time of need. (Hebrews 4:16)
