Life often seems like an uncharted journey through unfamiliar territory. It can be exciting at times, but disorienting at other times. If we try to discern the way forward on our own, it can be more difficult than it needs to be. Long ago, Mary and Joseph had to travel 90 miles on the back of a donkey to Bethlehem where Jesus was born - and it likely wasn’t an easy journey and took days to get there. Jesus’ own journey was much like this. He knew the destination—our salvation—was worth the difficult road He had to travel. And because of HIS journey, we may have hope in OUR journey.
