The last chapters of Revelation give us a breath-taking vision of a new beginning - new heavens and new earth, where there will be no more tears…can you imagine it? Dare you dream about it? It seems too good to be true from our vantage point in history, but it’s what the Old Testament prophets, Jesus, Paul, and now John have all pointed to as the culmination of history when Jesus’ triumph over evil is complete. Looking forward to the hope of that glorious future is something that can encourage and empower you right now, even when things are difficult at times. A new day is coming - and what a glorious day it will be!
