Who is God? In addition to being King and Creator of the universe and life within it, God is a Deal Maker - and that’s because He is a highly relational being. God has a deep desire for relationship with humanity whom He made in His image to rule and take care of His creation. Even though humans have repeatedly fractured that relationship, God has repeatedly made covenants or “deals” with humanity to ensure restored and continued relationship. The best part is that when humans turn away from themselves and towards Him in repentance and faith, He even obligates Himself to fulfill His end of the deal/covenant and provide life, forgiveness, and new hope for each day forever!
