When we look at the Book of Acts, we see an incredible story of the first Christians being so filled with the Spirit that they share all of their possessions and resources and that not one of them was in need of any basic necessities of life. While this model was not practiced everywhere in the early church, it nevertheless provides an inspiring example of what can happen when God’s people allow the Spirit to so shape our hearts that we would give to each other that generously as an expression of love. Today’s message will look at the question of what this can look like in our our world and church today.
