Today’s message will look at the story of Joseph’s brothers selling him into slavery only to see him forgive them many years later right when he could have taken revenge and made them suffer instead. Likewise, it can wound us deeply when someone else betrays or otherwise hurts us, and it can linger and become a life-sapping infection in our hearts if there is no reconciliation of the relationship. God calls us to to voluntarily offer forgiveness - not just because He does the same for us, but because He wants us to experience the freedom that comes from doing so.
