The idea of “home” is at the forefront of our society. Whether it is home improvement, housing prices, or those longing for a home. God’s word consistently describes a theme of people looking for, longing for, and returning to home. The prophet Jeremiah and the apostle Paul give us an insight into why we long for home. Jesus describes that he goes to prepare a home for his followers and ultimately God gives us a true home through Jesus.
