Two things are true about our lives (among others): the thief and source of evil is in this world, and the Spirit of God is ever-present to lead us through the battles of this life. If you want a heart that is increasingly fully alive, then becoming familiar with the gift of God’s wisdom in His Word and learning to listen to the Spirit’s leading and guidance in the flow of every day life is essential. This is critical because while the thief wants to deceive you with lies and drown you in shame, Jesus wants to meet you with the truth of who you are in Him in the depths of your heart. Walking with God is the path that leads to life!
