Being a neighborhood missionary is exciting and can become one of your greatest sources of joy - but it’s not always easy which is why it’s important to have a “home base” to check in with and to receive encouragement from. When you gather regularly with other Christians in “missional community” to share stories of your adventures as a neighborhood missionary, there is opportunity for listening, encouragement, and prayer for each other. This can fuel you to continue to go back into your “neighborhoods” to seek the kingdom, listen to Jesus, talk with people, do good for them, and connect them with God by praying with them.
