Jesus saw crowds of people who were “harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd, and He had compassion on them.” He got to know those people and loved and cared for them. Jesus calls us to do the same - slow down enough to see the needs that people around us have and then show compassion by providing love and an experience of some of the goodness of the Kingdom of God. This is so important because people don’t want to just hear about God’s love, they want it to experience it coming to them through the love of one of the followers of Jesus - and that could be you! This weekend’s message will explore three simple practices to do exactly that as we join Jesus on His mission.
