One of the greatest mistakes in life is to “judge a book by its cover” - or to label or dismiss people based on your first impression of them. Some of the greatest, kindest, and most impactful people in this world are those whom we would least expect. Scripture clearly indicates that while “people look at the outward appearance…the Lord looks at the heart.” This week we’ll resume our “God at the Movies” series with a look at the story of that great American everyman and unlikely hero, Forrest Gump.
