Every year, no, every day, we try and fill our lives with things that satisfy. Yet these gifts always leave more to be desired. I’m sure this Christmas had moments of joy from the Lord. But gifts fail, they might not be quite what you wanted or needed, there’s always a little place in our hearts that feels empty or let down. That emptiness can only be filled with Jesus, he is the true gift.
