Are you ever so sure of your path in life that you are blinded to the unexpected possibilities God may have for you? Do you ever find yourself wanting to run away from your true calling because another path seems safer (even if it may be mundane and boring)? Have you ever been confronted with a moment of truth when you had to make a decision for yourself and perhaps others under your care as to what kind of values would define you? These are situations that all of us will wrestle with at one time or another. The good news is that the Holy Spirit wants to lead us through each of these scenarios as we look to Him in faith. As we continue our series of messages called God at the Movies, we’ll explore how these themes are illustrated in the stories of Captain von Trapp and Maria in the classic musical film, The Sound of Music.
