Since the beginning, the followers of Jesus have come from different cultures and backgrounds. If it were up to us, building unity would be difficult or impossible. The good news is that Jesus has come to tear down the walls that divide us from Him and from each other - at the foot of the cross, the playing field is level and even as we receive unmerited love, we receive the ability to share that same love with others, even those who are different from ourselves in one way or another.
