As comforting as it is to contemplate the possibility of a life without lack in relationship with the One who lacks nothing and has everything, this week’s message will explore the hard question of why there is so much lack and evil in the world. Even faithful Christians experience tremendous suffering and the consequences of evil in this world, some of which we perpetuate ourselves. Why is that? How can that be? How can we experience hope and also fight back against the power of evil? On this Reformation Sunday, our message will look to the light and even greater power of God’s Word for guidance on these questions.
