Most things in the world run on power - whether powered by electricity, gas, steam, nuclear, or other forms of power. The Christian life is the same - you can’t live it without the power of the Holy Spirit - to try to follow Jesus without depending on the Spirit is to set yourself up for disappointment and difficulty. On this Pentecost Sunday we remember the gift of the Spirit and pray in each moment, “Come, Holy Spirit!”
