Life is full - sometimes the events of our lives make perfect sense, and other times we are left bewildered, disoriented, and unsure why our story is going the way it is and what it means. This was true for some of Jesus’ first disciples on the evening of the day of Jesus’ Resurrection - even though in their grief they don’t initially recognize Him, He kindly and patiently walks them through the Scriptures to bring them to an “Aha!” moment where they see the bigger picture. Likewise, Jesus invites us to recognize Him walking with us through life and to listen for His interpretation of the events of our life story in His Word.
