Can you imagine having so many blessings that you would actually ask people to stop bringing them to you? Can you imagine having more than enough? That’s exactly what happened when the people of Israel brought gifts to build their first sanctuary in which to worship and meet with God. They were motivated by gratitude for all God had done for them which moved them into extravagant generosity. As we head into Thanksgiving week, may we reflect with gratitude on the blessings God has given us so that we might generously share with others until they have “more than enough!”
