"Let’s go to church!” You’ve probably heard or said this phrase, but it gives away a subtle, yet critical, misunderstanding of what “church” is - the church is NOT a building, nor is the church a worship service - rather the Church is a collection of people called by God’s Spirit out of darkness into His light, filled with His life, and sent to love and serve all creation, especially humanity made in God’s image.  As we bring all of Hope’s people together in one worship service for the summer months, this week’s message will spend some time exploring and celebrating what it means to the one people of God (the church) together.
