Throughout our lives, others label us and we even label ourselves; it’s one of the ways we define our identity and who we think we are. The problem is that the labels that others, and we ourselves, put on us aren’t always accurate. Jesus comes to tell us our true identity in Him and to give us a new name that is rooted in our true identity: we are redeemed and adopted sons and daughters of His Father. This is great news and can transform how we see ourselves and live our lives!
