Storms of various kinds come to every person’s life - it doesn’t matter who you are. In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus reminds us that whether or not the “house” of your life stands or falls in those storms has to do with whether or not you are building your life on putting God’s Word into practice. This is simple and powerful advice, but it takes a lifetime to learn the value of. Too often, we end up learning the hard way. Jesus wants to be your strength in the midst of storms - you will experience that most when you build your hope on Him!
