Prayer is ultimately an act of surrender. Prayer is an acknowledgment that there is a God and you are not him. Prayer is an act of humility and dependence, but it is also something that brings relief and life as we raise the white flag in our hearts and lives and put our faith in Jesus. This weekend’s message marks the beginning of a new series of messages on prayer, and the students in the 2021 Journey Confirmation class will publicly affirm their faith in and surrender to Jesus.
