We RENEW hope in our lives by diving into extended and highly focused EXPERIENCES that often provide transformational life.

One of the ways that we RENEW HOPE is through our retreats. Fourteen high school students and two adults just returned from an amazing weekend in the mountains at Ingalls Creek Enrichment Center near Leavenworth.  The theme for the weekend was LIT: Learning to let the light of Christ shine off their face. Through Bible Studies, the youth realized they were “embers” at times and need to be with other believers to light up; they are “sparks” that just needs the right fuel to set a blaze; or they are “flames” that reflect the light of Christ. They also had fun exploring Leavenworth and looking and adventuring through God’s awesome creation, including seeing stars on a smokeless night! Thank you for praying for us. 

This weekend, twenty men are heading to Tall Timber Ranch for their annual men’s retreat. Please keep them in your prayers and specifically pray that the air will be clear from the smoke and the fires would be put out.

Our one-day women’s retreat is coming October 8 at Camp Long. Registration is open until October 2^nd so don’t delay. Our focus will be on Psalm 46 and what it means to “Be Still and Know that I am God.” Click Here for all the details.
